چکیده

Respiratory tract infections have the highest rates of antibiotic prescriptions where symptoms like fever, cough, and rigors are regularly misinterpreted bacterial cannot be distinguished from viral ones. Nevertheless, it has been recently suggested that C-reactive protein (CRP), a produced by liver in response to infection, could serve as potential biomarker for precise differentiation these two types infections. Thus, its quick accurate detection would potentially reduce unnecessary use. To this end, we present an easy sensitive approach selective (CRP) liquid-gated carbon nanotube field effect transistors (LG-CNTFET). Herein, CNT-networks were deposited between electrodes via controlled dielectrophoretic deposition then functionalized with novel specific antibody polyethylene glycol (PEG) layer order overcome Debye screening. The successful fabrication functionalization confirmed scanning electron microscopy. results showed reproducible down picomolar concentrations PBS buffer without complicated microfluidics. simplicity high sensitivity sensor platform make promising tool differential diagnosis

Carbon Nanotube Field-effect Transistors

This paper discusses the device physics of carbon nanotube field-effect transistors (CNTFETs). After reviewing the status of device technology, we use results of our numerical simulations to discuss the physics of CNTFETs emphasizing the similarities and differences with traditional FETs. The discussion shows that our understanding of CNTFET device physics has matured to the point where experim...

Single electron charge sensitivity of liquid-gated carbon nanotube transistors.

Random telegraph signals corresponding to activated charge traps were observed with liquid-gated CNT FETs. The high signal-to-noise ratio that we observe demonstrates that single electron charge sensing is possible with CNT FETs in liquids at room temperature. We have characterized the gate-voltage dependence of the random telegraph signals and compared to theoretical predictions. The gate-volt...

Simulations of Carbon Nanotube Field Effect Transistors

As the scaling of Si MOSFET approaches towards its limiting value, new alternatives are coming up to overcome these limitations. In this paper first we have reviewed carbon nanotube field effect transistor (CNTFET) and types of CNTFET. We have then studied the effect of channel length and chirality on the drain current for planer CNTFET. The Id~Vd curves for planer CNTFETs having different chan...
